Designed to train your staff to deal with accidents and emergencies which could occur during the workplace. This training enables first-aiders to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill at work, and equips the first-aider with the knowledge and know-how on how to treat a range of specific injuries. This is a foundation course for employers and employees who wish to learn the basics of first aid in the workplace.
Emergency First Aid training gives learners the skills and confidence to respond to a large range of accidents, injuries and first aid emergencies that they may encounter in the workplace or out and about in life. Learners will develop the skills to help someone who is bleeding heavily, in a state of shock, unresponsive yet breathing, choking or suffering from a burn, as well as how to identify and report causalities. This is a foundation course for anyone who wishes to learn the basics of first aid.
Paediatric First Aid training providers learners with the skills and knowledge to provide effective first aid to under 18s. This training course is ideal for nursery and school teachers, as well as child minders, au pairs, nannies and sport and leisure staff. The course covers how to help a child or baby who is unresponsive, choking, bleeding, suffering from an asthma attack and much more.
Sometimes trauma is not a physical affliction. Our Mental Health First Aid course is designed to support those who are experiencing ill mental health. The Mental Health First Aider will be equipped with the proper training to prevent and help during a mental health crisis by recognising warning signs and having the skills to approach and support someone in need.
This course is designed for learners who hold an in-date Level 3 emergency first aid or Level 3 first at work qualifications. This course will teach learners the inherent dangers associated with the use of tourniquets and haemostatic dressings whilst administering First Aid in a high-risk working environment.
Our Oxygen Therapy Administration course enables learners to safely administer oxygen safely and effectively to an injured person who is suffering with breathing difficulties. Learners will be taught the safety how and when to administer oxygen, as well as how to carry and store oxygen correctly.
This course has been specifically designed to support first aiders in the work environment learn how to properly handle and store a defibrillator. We can also renew your existing defibrillation certificates for another three years if yours have now expired.
Anaphylaxis (anaphylactic shock) is a serious, life-threatening allergic reaction often triggered by an insect sting or to an allergic food substance. This course teaches learners how to identify the onset symptoms, describe anaphylaxis correctly and how to deal with someone who has gone into anaphylactic shock.
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces including those with less than five employees and to the self-employed.
